Television Specialist
November 1972 to June 1980
Managed staff of 10; held in-service seminars, applied Instructional Systems Technology approach to ITV programs, designed studio and field production systems. Produced 90 instructional programs all on schedule and within budget. Researched and wrote draft for grant that created 35 instructional programs that became interactive videodisks distributed nationally for the deaf. Designed a half-hour newscast for the deaf community, which led to 1,000 letters of support and the initiation of teaching sign language in the public schools.

October 1970 to August 1972
Co-created the prototype Undergraduate Pilot Training Learning Center and contributed to a major change in the methodology of training USAF pilots. Using audiovisual training productions, replaced in-flight training hours without decreasing the quality of the best pilot training system in the world. Dramatically decreased costs and increased efficiency and morale. Reduced training time by 66%.
